generate_deposit_link

Creates a hosted payment link the user can open to deposit NGN into their Monei wallet. Parameters:

customer	object	Yes	Customer details name, email, phone
narration	string	No	Optional note for the deposit

check_deposit_status

Returns the current status of a deposit by reference. Parameters:

reference	string	Yes	Deposit reference

get_banks

Returns all supported Nigerian banks with their codes and names. Use when: The user asks what banks are supported, or when you need a bank code before a transfer and the user has not provided one. The bank code is what gets passed to transfer endpoints, not the bank name.

verify_bank_account

Validates a Nigerian bank account number and returns the registered account holder name. Always call this before sending NGN to a bank account. Show the resolved name to the user and ask them to confirm before proceeding. Parameters:

bank	string	Yes	Bank code from get_banks e.g. 058 for GTBank

send_naira_to_bank

Sends NGN from the user’s Monei wallet to any Nigerian bank account. Required sequence before calling this tool:

Call verify_bank_account to resolve the account name
Show the user the amount, bank, account number, and resolved account name
Ask for explicit confirmation and the user’s transaction PIN
Only then call this tool

Sends NGN directly to another Monei user identified by email or phone number. Parameters:
