You can connect the Monei MCP server to Claude on the web at claude.ai without installing anything locally.

Setup

  1. Go to claude.ai and open Settings
  2. Navigate to the Integrations or MCP section
  3. Click Add MCP Server
  4. Enter the server URL:
  1. Claude will open the Monei auth page
  2. Enter your Monei API key
  3. The key is validated and you are redirected back to Claude
That is it. The Monei tools are now available in your Claude web conversations.

Using the tools

Start a new conversation and ask anything financial:
“Check my wallet balance”
“What is the naira rate for USDT on Base right now?”
“Show my recent transactions”
Claude will use the Monei tools to answer in real time.
MCP server support on claude.ai web requires a Claude Pro or Team plan.
